About this Event
The Myth of Civil Discourse in times of Genocide and Political Deportations.
National Lawyers Guild, Immigration Law & Policy Society, and Public Interest are proud to host Professors Chapin, Jamshidi, and Stafford in a discussion of what type of speech is and is not considered "civil discourse", and how those boundaries are maintained. We will also discuss what is considered political violence, and how state action is rarely thought of as being such.
Food will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
