Did you know that graduates of CU Law have secured public interest fellowships funded by Equal Justice Works, Skadden, various institutions of higher education, and more? Attend this session to learn how post-graduate public interest fellowships can help launch your public interest law career from the CDO and from alumni who have successfully navigated the process. From Design-Your-Own opportunities, to organization-based, cohort, education, and even government entry-level opportunities, this session will de-mystify what fellowships are and provide information on what steps you can take – regardless of class year – to position yourself for success.  Speakers will include:

  • Lizzie Bird (’23) a current judicial law clerk, Skadden Fellow (’26-’28) with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project
  • Charlotte Goodenow (’24) an Equal Justice Works Fellow (’24-’26) at the Community Economic Defense Project
  • Hannah Ahders (’25)  a ’25-’27 CU Law’s American Indian Law Program Fellow
  • A few more graduates/fellows may join as well!
