About this Event
Presented by the Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law, the annual SCOTUS Review brings together faculty experts from Colorado Law who break down
the latest U.S. Supreme Court decisions, their potential impact, and what to keep an
eye out for in future cases. This year, Faculty will be discussing LGBTQ-themed books in school curricula, online age verification for websites with sexual content, environmental protection lawsuits, birthright citizenship, and medical procedures for transgender youth.
This year's review will feature Professor's Persad, Derron, Choi, and Norton and they will discuss the following cases:
Professor Norton: Mahmoud v Taylor & Okla. v Drummond
Professor Choi: FSC v Paxton
Professor Persad: U.S. v Skrmetti
Professor Derron: Eagle County v STB & Diamond Alternative Energy v EPA
Please arrive early as the room does usually fill up! Lunch will be provided on a first
