WLAW Room 307

On Wednesday, November 5, at 8 a.m. Mountain Time, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the important tariff case Learning Resources Inc v. Trump. The plaintiffs are small business owners who develop products and assemble domestically, but manufacture internationally. As a result of the tariffs, these businesses will see an increase in their import costs of over $97.7 million in 2025. The Supreme Court will decide if the International Emergency Powers Act (“IEEPA”) authorizes the president to impose tariffs.

Professor Speck and the FTLA will be hosting a breakfast to listen to the oral arguments on the SCOTUS audio livestream. Please RSVP yes/no and any dietary restrictions here
