Through a series of presentations and a panel this symposium brings together Indigenous leaders, legal scholars, and advocates to examine Indigenous sovereignty, sacred lands and culture. Speakers include Thomas Fredericks, Jeremy Patterson, Kristen Carpenter, and a keynote by Walter Echo-Hawk. This event is open to the public and intended for any and all interested in Indigenous law, environmental justice, or cultural preservation.  

 

After the event, we will have a social hour with Ch'il Indigenous Food catering until 6:30.
