The Colorado State Public Defenders fight for the individual and constitutional rights of indigent criminal defendants who cannot afford to hire an attorney, zealously defending those clients’ rights in criminal proceedings.  The Colorado State Public Defenders offer internships at both metro-area and rural Colorado PD offices, and the office annually hires a group of entry-level public defender attorneys.  

Co-sponsored by law school’s Public Defense Student Association and the Career Development Office, join several attorneys from the Colorado PD’s to learn more about the life and career path of a public defender, as well as opportunities for student involvement.  Lunch will be provided!
