The Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law launched the Colorado Law Constitution Day Project in September 2011. Each September since then, hundreds of volunteers have visited high school classrooms all over Colorado, offering interactive lesson plans that raised tough questions. Themes have included the First Amendment, the Fourth Amendment, voting rights, the Constitution more generally, and other topics that engage students with current events and the role the Constitution plays in them. 

The application is now open to volunteer for the 2026 Constitution Day Project. If you are a law student, attorney, teacher or high school administrator interested in participating, please click here. 

• Training for volunteers will be on September 9 @ 12pm in Wolf Law Room 207.
• Constitution Day lessons will be taught on Thursday, September 17, Friday, September 18, and Friday, September 25, 2026.
