The Colorado Defense Lawyers Association (“CDLA”) is committed to encouraging and fostering young lawyers intending to join Colorado’s vibrant defense community. Scholarships will be awarded to one student attending the University of Colorado at Boulder Law School and one student attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Each recipient will receive $3,000.

The scholarship will be awarded to Colorado law students who are in the second semester of their second year of law school (“rising 3Ls”). Preference will be given to law students who intend to practice civil and/or administrative law defense work in Colorado and have demonstrated interest in this work.
