A Bench-Bar Retreat, or sometimes a Bench-Bar Conference, is a gathering specifically designed to bring together members of the judiciary ("the bench") and practicing attorneys ("the bar") for the purpose of fostering collaboration, communication, and education within the legal community. 

Join the Boulder County Bar Association at Colorado Law for its annual Bench Bar Retreat.

5:00 to 5:30 – Registration and light snacks

5:30 to 6:20 – Judge Lindsey and others from the 20^th JD presenting on Increasing Diversity on the Bench (1 EDI credit applied for)

6:30 to 7:20 – Justice Berkenkotter from the Colorado Supreme Court presenting on Artificial Intelligence and Legal Ethics (1 ethics credit applied for)

7:30 to 8:20 – Jessica Yates, Attorney Regulation Counsel for the Colorado Supreme Court presenting an Ethics Update (1 ethics credit applied for)

Attendance is free for Colorado Law students who are members of the Boulder County Bar Association (membership to the BCBA is free for students - https://www.boulder-bar.org/member).
