This program will cover the state and local tax impacts from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act with a focus on Colorado's initial responses. Additional topics will include: recent tax court cases involving Netflix, Lakewood, and Michigan, key takeaways from Colorado's Special Session, and sales and use tax updates across the nation. We will also provide a brief overview on the state taxation impact of name, image, and likeness (NIL) income for student-athletes.
