Join the Byron R. White Center for an in-depth preview of the U.S. Supreme Court’s cases for the 2025-2026 term, including cases on the First Amendment and internet regulation, the First Amendment and fundraising practices of faith-based pregnancy centers, race and redistricting of electoral districts, bans on conversion therapy for LGBTQ youth, and the rights of transgender athletes. Professors Scott Skinner-Thompson, Margot Kaminski, and Doug Spencer will provide a comprehensive primer of the cases and their potential impact, offering expert insights on critical legal issues. Deep Gulasekaram, Director of the Byron White Center and Provost Professor of Law will moderate the preview of cases. 

 

The lecture will be held at the University of Colorado Law School from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. A networking reception with light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will follow from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m
