Join the Korey Wise Innonence Project Student Group in hosting an informational panel with the talented attorneys on KWIP's staff! Learn about different paths within post-conviction work, what this work really entails, the attorney's own criminal defense careers, appellate work, and what advice they have for students. Panelists include...(1) Former director of the Criminal Defense Clinic and current KWIP Executive Director, Ann England, (2) KWIP's Assistant Director, Jeanne Segil, who previously has done both trial and appellate work with the Colorado State Public Defender, (3) Jud Lohnes, a former Colorado State Public Defender who now focuses his work on microscopic hair analysis, and (4) former Chief Appellate Public Defender for the State of Colorado and current private practice owner of a post-conviction firm, Kathleen Lord.
