About this Event
The Honorable Roopali H. Desai of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will join the Colorado Law community on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 5:00-6:30pm to deliver the 14th Annual John Paul Stevens Lecture. In conversation with Professor Deep Gulasekaram, Director of the Byron White Center, Judge Desai will discuss the legal landscape of the right to vote. On the occasion of the Voting Rights Act's 60th birthday, the lecture will focus on the role state and federal governments and our three-branch system play in protecting free and fair elections in the United States.
