Individual pictures for the 2025 Law Composite will be taken on October 1st and 2nd. You must be graduating in Fall 2024, Spring, Summer, or Fall 2025 or be a current faculty/staff member to participate. The pictures will be taken in Boettcher Hall at the law school (room 100 next to Wittemyer Courtroom). The composite hangs outside of the library and will hang in the law school permanently. It only takes a few minutes for your picture and you can sign up through the following link.

Please sign up for a time slot by Monday, September 30th using this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Apj1EHyh5-fudEc4V1pMSGJfY0F2eXhMeU5waDJnOUE&usp=sharing

You are able to purchase a digital file of your photo in person with our photographer (pricing unknown). The digital file is nice for social sites like LinkedIn. You can also print from your digital file.

Most students request retouching, which includes removing, blemishes, dark areas under the eyes and stray hair. It also includes a subtle whitening of the eyes and teeth. Want to look your best in the composite over the years? Request retouching by asking the photographer when you get your photo taken for only $6.00 (payable via card in person).

If you do not have your picture taken while the photographer is here then call Oliver Photography directly to have it taken at their studio in Louisville by February 1st, 2025. The number is 303-666-6672. There is a $30.00 charge for the private studio session.

E-mail law.studentaffairs@colorado.edu with questions.

Commonly asked questions about composite photos:

Do I have to take a picture?

No! You will be listed as not pictured at the bottom of the composite.

I am graduating in Fall (Fall 2023, Summer 2024, or Fall 2024), can I still be on the composite?

Yes! Unless you were pictured in last year’s composite. Fall graduates can pick which year they are pictured, most choose the class they entered law school with.

Can I have my pet in my picture?

Yes! Please note we encourage you to schedule a private session and let our photographer know you will have your pet present. For the main session in October, you are responsible for reviewing campus policies when it comes to pets on campus.

Can I have my family/kids in my picture?

Yes

I want to do something funny, will that be okay?

Feel free to do something funny, you are about to be an attorney and this will stay on the law school walls forever - use your judgement! Note, the law school reserves the right to not include your picture if it is offensive etc.

I am studying abroad this semester, do I have to pay for a private session?

No, the law school will cover the cost of your session if you are studying abroad during the fall photo dates. Let us know so we can inform the photographer by emailing law.studentaffairs@colorado.edu and be sure to get your photo taken by Feb 1st Deadline.

I have a title I would like to have displayed, how do I do so?

Due to limited space in the composite only the following are listed: Class Officers, Journal Editors-in-Chief, Barrister’s Division Presidents, SBA President, non-JD degrees (LLM/MSL), Lilac Scholars. The Law School will coordinate this on the back end.
